Magical Music from the Movies


Disney In Concert


On March 7, 2010, in Perth, West Australia,
Ashley conducted a magical musical journey through Disney's classic animated movies.

While families enjoyed a beautiful night, sitting on the lawn at the Perth Zoo,
video was projected onto the big screen with the original scores being played LIVE
by the WA Philharmonic Orchestra and accompanied by four fabulous young W.A. singers,

Phoebe Jackson, Kirste Oates, Paul Peacock, Mark Underwood,

and the West Australian Vocal Ensemble.

Also appearing was special guest, Elliot Spencer, with narration by George Houvardis
- "Carbo" in Channel 7's "Packed To The Rafters".

Outstanding movie scores featured during this magical evening included
Aladdin, The Lion King, Mary Poppins, The Little Mermaid and more. .


 

The Godfather


In July 2008 Ashley conducted The West Australian Philharmonic in a live-to-picture performance
of Nino Rota's score launching the re-mastered DVD of The Godfather
at the State Theatre, Sydney.

One Night in Jordan


June 19, 2008.
Ashley was guest conductor of the London Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
and London Voices Choir in a one night only concert in the historic Roman Amphitheatre in Amman, Jordan,
sponsored by the Jordanian Royal Family
and featuring pianist Zade Dirani.
